My Super D is a 2016 Philippine superhero fantasy drama television series directed by Frasco Mortiz and Lino Cayetano, starring Dominic Ochoa, Marco Masa and Bianca Manalo. The series premiered on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida evening block and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on April 18, 2016, replacing Game ng Bayan. This is Dominic Ochoa’s very first lead role after playing supporting roles in numerous teleseryes.

The original Super D (Richard Yap), a being from another planet who draws his power from a blue diamond, is a superhero who saves the lives of many people, including a barangay captain named Dado (Ronnie Lazaro), who was in turn inspired by the heroism of Super D and dedicates his life in serving others. His wife Belen (Sylvia Sanchez) gives birth to a son named Dodong (Marc Santiago). Dodong considered Super D as his idol during his childhood and met Nicole and Tony with whom he befriended.

A crime lord, named Don Zulueta (Ronaldo Valdez), knowing Super D’s secret he used a woman (Precious Lara Quigaman) to pin him down. Super D fell in love with this woman, without both of them knowing the Don’s plan. Don Zulueta’s criminal group was able to kill Super D. To prove the superhero’s death, the criminals bombed a shopping mall, where Dado is among the casualties of the bombing.

Dodong (Dominic Ochoa), grew up as an adult, ended marrying Nicole (Bianca Manalo), and they had a family over their own. Dodong, a construction worker, got involved accident at the site he was working in. Tony (Marvin Agustin), instead of helping Dodong, hired a lawyer to get Dodong imprisoned. While Dodong was imprisoned, Tony took Nicole for himself. Later in the story, Pablo (Nonie Buencamino), a graphic artist and trusted friend of the original Super D helps Dodong. Also with the graphic artist’s help he was able to find the blue diamond and became the next Super D.

Vampire ang Daddy Ko (lit. My Daddy is a Vampire) is a Philippine comedy sitcom starring Vic Sotto and his son, Oyo Boy Sotto. It also stars Ryzza Mae Dizon, Jimmy Santos, Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, Glaiza de Castro, Anjo Yllana and Pilita Corrales.

Vampire ang Daddy Ko revolves around a family where the head of the household is a vampire, and where love is the only thing that makes them survive everybody’s suspicion and their own paranoia. Vlad (Oyo) is a semi-retired vampire and the head of the family. He’s been making do with animal blood since he married a human, Sonya (Jackie Lou / Pilita). It is his great love for Sonya that made him want to reform. Sonya, in turn, has promised to give him fine and outstanding children. On that end, she has given him two sons, Vad and Victorio (Vic). Unlike his older brother, Victor is not a vampire. He has issues with his father. He knows his father is a vampire who, from time to time, still consorts with active vampires. Victor feels his father doesn’t love him as much as he does his missing older son, Vad. Vlad continues to tempt Victor with pig’s blood, measures his cuspids to see if they’ve grown into fangs, and in his presence keeps on asking his wife Sonya if it’s possible for them to have picked up the wrong baby in the hospital nursery. Will the love between father and son outweigh their differences? Written and directed by Ms. Bibeth Orteza, Vampire ang Daddy Ko premieres on March 9, Saturday, after Kap’s Amazing Stories.

Goin’ Bulilit (lit. Goin’ Kids) is a sketch comedy show broadcast on and created by ABS-CBN in the Philippines. It is a gag show featuring children in various comedic situations.

The show’s aim is to provide laughter towards the audience by showcasing gags, sketches, and segments. The cast is composed of child actors, excluding Dagul, who portrays different roles ranging from young to old characters every week to bring entertainment.

At the end of 2005, Goin’ Bulilit immediately received an award from the PMPC Star Awards for TV for “Best Gag Show”, tied with Bubble Gang. Soon after, the show received multiple awards and nominations among variety of award-giving bodies such as the KBP Golden Dove Awards and the Gawad TANGLAW. In addition, not only is the show being recognized, but also to the casts. In fact, the PMPC Star Awards for TV had nominated Sharlene San Pedro for “Best Comedy Actress” two times consecutively, as well as single nominations for Harvey Bautista, Aaliyah Belmoro, and Ashley Sarmiento for “Best New Male/Female TV Personality” category.

Though its cast is almost entirely kids, Goin’ Bulilit creator Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz admitted that the show is not for kids. He added that the ABS-CBN wanted a gag show that can compete with Bubble Gang of rival GMA Network, but as the network have not enough suitable actors for the planned program, he thought up of having one with kids instead.

Banana Sundae (formerly Banana Split) is a Filipino comedy gag show broadcast on ABS-CBN every Sunday after ASAP featuring Angelica Panganiban, Jason Gainza, and John Prats, with Pokwang, JC De Vera, Jessy Mendiola, Pooh, Zanjoe Marudo and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash of 2010 2nd Big Placer Ryan Bang.

Banana Split is the spiritual successor to the Goin’ Bananas series which included Edgar Mortiz, Christopher de Leon, and the late Jay Ilagan and Johnny Delgado.

Banana Split first aired on October 11, 2008. The second season premiered on February 28, 2009, and the third season on April 18, 2009 with a new cast. The fourth season premiered on July 18, 2009. A 30-minute version began airing every weekday afternoon from September 30, 2009, entitled Banana Split: Daily Servings, as part of the Hapontastic block. On August 18, 2010, it was moved to morning timeslot at 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. However it was moved again twice as early as 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. starting June 27, 2011. On July 9, 2011 the Saturday show was reformatted as Banana Split: Extra Scoop which features live comedy performance including the return of Clown in The Million Season 2, a reality comedy search. On September 12, 2011, Banana Split: Daily Servings will be renamed as Banana Split: Lafternoon Delight and moved to 2:45 pm slot. Due to low ratings, Banana Split: Lafternoon Delight was ended on October 7, 2011.

Banana Split: Extra Scoop airs every Saturday night and surprisingly, the show did well and garnering higher ratings on its timeslot compare to other counterpart programs. Because of its success in the late night timeslot, the network decided to launch a version of the gag show airing Tuesday-Friday at after Bandila from February 25, 2013 onwards titled Banana Nite. Starting Monday, August 5, 2013, Banana Nite will now air 15 minutes longer from 11:30PM–12:15 AM. Starting Monday, February 10, 2014, Banana Nite will go back to 30 minutes from 12:25AM–12:55 AM. Banana Nite ended on October 30, 2015 after their two-year run also Banana Split Extra Scoop ended on November 7, 2015 after its four-year run to give way to Banana Sundae that premiered on November 15, 2015 and move to Sunday depicting its program’s name. The move is probably answer to GMA’s sunday noontime show, Sunday PinaSaya.

Pepito Manaloto, now known as Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kwento (Pepito Manaloto: The Real Story) is a Philippine award-winning live situational comedy created by Michael V. for GMA Network aired every Saturday which premiered on March 28, 2010. The show premiered on GMA Pinoy TV on April 5, 2010, one week after its original premiere. The show is currently on its fifth season (with the new, revised title), which premiere on September 16, 2012 in the Philippines and September 22, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.

Pepito Manaloto, Ang Tunay na Kuwento is different from the previous season. It is a stand-alone show that follows the ordinary life of an ordinary person who was blessed with extraordinary luck.

The Manalotos’ rags-to-riches experience earned them a TV show, but because they thought it didn’t reveal the true story, they had the TV network responsible scrap it. Instead, they came up with the idea to show exactly what goes on in the Manaloto household by having a camera crew film their lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The merry mix of characters of Pepito and his wife Elsa, their children Chito and Clarissa, their house help Patrick, Maria, Robert, Baby and their neighbors Tommy, plus the mother-daughter tandem of Deedee and Mimi, will bring more color to the life story of Pepito Manaloto.

These different characters surrounding Pepito will definitely make his life a lot more interesting.

Home Sweetie Home is a Philippine situational comedy on ABS-CBN It is aired every Saturday after Celebrity Playtime and before Maalaala Mo Kaya starring John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga. The show tackles a newly married couple’s lives, and their ways to address the needs of a growing typical Filipino household. It first aired on January 5, 2014 on ABS-CBN, and worldwide on TFC.

The show is a reunion project for Cruz and Gonzaga. Previously, they both starred in My Amnesia Girl, a Star Cinema romance comedy film, which premiered in 2010.

Home Sweetie Home is the story of Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) and Julie (Toni Gonzaga), who live together with the latter’s family under one roof. Julie’s mother (Sandy Andolong) undoubtedly does not favor Romeo as her son-in-law because of his reputation as a ladies man, and prefers Jay-Jay (Jason Gainza) whom she considers fit for her daughter, seeing him as responsible. Still, the two decided to marry each other. However, in turn, Romeo has to deal with Julie’s family in the best way he knows how.
